Tubular daylighting devices
Show:
Tubular daylighting devices, also known as daylight-guidance systems, tubular skylights, or light pipes, allow daylight to be transmitted from the roof to the building core - sometimes over considerable distances. TDDs include a rooftop dome and flashing, a reflective light pipe, and an interior diffuser. These devices collect and transmit the visible light spectrum through a highly reflective light pipe to an interior diffuser. This brings the luminescence of sunlight without the heat and UV problems associated with conventional skylights.
